Our company “mission” has always been to help make people safer. Our employees have been tasked with providing the most effective, formidable and reliable tools… and means to accomplish that mission. While we are certain that the Yellow Jacket Smartphone Stun Gun Case may be one of the best self-defense tools on the market today, we also believe that no single product is perfect for every application. To imply otherwise…is simply dishonest.
That is why we are constantly striving to expand our company portfolio to include the most effective, cutting edge defensive tools that we can design and manufacture. At the same time, we are always searching for new ideas, concepts and processes that will enhance both the deployment of the Yellow Jacket during an assault as well as advance our user’s defensive awareness and capabilities. That brings us to KRM Tactical and WASP.
KRM-Tactical
Some time ago, the founders of KRM-Tactical contacted us to discuss how they felt they could incorporate the Yellow Jacket into the tremendously effective self-defense training they are famous for. Kerwin Rodriguez and Robert Metz may be two of the most accomplished defensive tactics instructors in Martial Arts today. You can find out more about them at www.krm-tactical.com.
With over 65+ years in martial arts instruction between both Mr. Rodriguez and Mr. Metz…as well as advanced law enforcement, military and executive protection backgrounds, the founders of KRM-Tactical offer some of the most elite and formidable personal protection training available today. While they offer various modules of training for everyone from law-enforcement and corrections officers to Dynamic Action Response Training (D.A.R.T.), it was WASP that they felt the Yellow Jacket would best dovetail with.
Kerwin and Bob teach a proprietary, stand-alone, ten-module program that was designed for women. Unlike most self-defense classes that are predicated on the student joining a dojo (school) to continue their training, WASP training is capable of teaching any women who is ambulatory to effectively defend herself in a very condensed period of time. WASP training incorporates the use of different weapons into many of their techniques. Once the instructional staff of KRM-Tactical had tested and reviewed the Yellow Jacket…they were convinced that it would enhance and compliment the WASP training for their students.
Yellow Jacket Training Course
The KRM-Tactical Training Staff were so impressed with the capabilities of the Yellow Jacket that they designed an actual training program around it. It is a stand-alone, single module class that comprises one (1) hour of instruction! While it is not necessary to take a class on how to deploy and use the Yellow Jacket…it stands to reason that as with any other defensive tool…the more you know how to use it, the more effective it will be.
For that reason, Stinger Solutions is proud to announce that we have partnered with KRM-Tactical in several areas.
- The Yellow Jacket Training Course will be offered through Authorized Dealers of the Yellow Jacket around the country. KRM-Tactical will offer “Train- the-Trainer” classes as well as direct instruction classes as Stinger Solutions formal corporate training arm.
- WASP instruction will be encouraged through all of the Authorized Dealers of the Yellow Jacket. Per our “mission statement” Stinger Solutions supports any and all tools and training that can make potential victims of violent crimes safer. WASP training is an obvious and credible option.
- KRM-Tactical Staff have agreed to serve on the Stinger Solutions Advisory Board to assist us with the advancement of our latest product designs to ensure they are always the most formidable and effective, drawing upon their vast experience in real-world self-defense.
- New defensive tactics videos produced by KRM-Tactical’s Staff will soon be available through our website and social media to help our customers enhance their personal defensive capabilities.
